SixCC Images, Copyright information
SixCC Images is a trading name of Andrew P Crawford ARPS, a freelance photographer based in Bookham, Surrey, in the UK. Unless attributed to another photographer, all images on this website are copyright Andrew P Crawford ARPS ©2014-2020.
What this means:
Copyright gives the photographer control over how a picture is copied and reproduced. Copyright exists in many countries, the UK included, irrespective of the presence, or not, of the © symbol, credit or watermarking text. You need our prior permission to use any photograph from this website (or from any other place in which our work is displayed), in any form of publication printed or electronic, prior to publication. This includes Social Media.
Us placing our photographs on freely accessible web pages, such as this site or Social Media platforms, does not place those photographs in the public domain. Unless we agree otherwise, we retain copyright when you buy prints or downloads. Having bought a print, you own a print of our photograph: you have not purchased the copyright. Scanning, photocopying or photographing prints infringes our copyright. Copyright applies notwithstanding the subject of the photograph. You or your possessions being the subject of our photograph does not change our ownership of copyright – it is a “photograph of you” and not “your photograph”. Using our photographs on other websites, or linking to images on this website, is not permitted without permission. Copyright infringement is theft.
All rights are reserved by the photographers who assert their moral rights to be attributed as the author of the photographs on this website.
What this means:
The photographer, unless agreed otherwise, must be credited wherever our photographs are used. If used online - having first obtained our agreement - we expect a link to this site. For example - “Pictures Copyright © 2020 Andrew P Crawford ARPS, SixCC Images, www.sixcc.co.uk”. You may not alter our photographs when using them. This includes, for instance, cropping the image or removing any watermarks.
Unauthorised use of our photographs will incur a penalty charge in additional to our professional, print or license fees at full rates, available on request. We use web tools to search for unauthorised internet use.
